Fagers Factory is the early architectural work of the famous German architect Gropius (1883 ~ 1969) in the 20th century. Located in a small town in Germany, it is a small factory that makes wooden shoe last. The layout of the workshop takes into account the needs of technology and production process. In front of the single-storey factory building is a three-storey office building. The office building adopts reinforced concrete frame structure with one side corridor. There are large glass windows between the pillars of the external wall, and the appearance of the wall under the window is black iron plate, forming a curtain wall composed of glass and iron plate. The corner of traditional buildings is often very thick, but the corner column of the office building of Fagers factory was cancelled instead, which made the glass curtain wall rotate continuously and unimpeded, and made the office building have a light and transparent modern feeling, which was of innovative significance at that time.
