Liaoning Pilot Free Trade Zone has three areas, namely

Liaoning Pilot Free Trade Zone consists of Shenyang, Dalian and Yingkou.

It is a regional free trade park established by China Municipal Government in Liaoning, which is located in Liaoning and belongs to the category of China Free Trade Zone. According to the work reports of local governments at the "two sessions" and the "Thirteenth Five-Year Plan" suggestions, it is found that except for Beijing, Hebei, Jilin, Shanxi, Qinghai and Tibet, the remaining 2/kloc-0 provinces, municipalities and autonomous regions have proposed to build free trade zones, and China (Liaoning) Pilot Free Trade Zone is one of them.

The role of free trade zones in economic and social development is mainly reflected in the following four aspects:

First, use its position as a commodity distribution center to expand export trade and entrepot trade, improve its position in international trade and increase foreign exchange income.

Second, it is conducive to attracting foreign investment and introducing foreign advanced technology and management experience.

Third, it is conducive to expanding employment opportunities. As the Free Trade Zone is committed to creating a market-oriented, international and legal business environment, there will inevitably be a large number of high-level talents, especially in the fields of finance, trade and shipping. Many college graduates and professionals will get more opportunities in the free trade zone, and even have the opportunity to get "international wages" beyond the level of the same industry without going abroad.

Fourthly, setting up districts in ports, transportation hubs and border areas can prosper ports, stimulate the development of the host country's transportation industry and promote regional economic development.
