Introduction to Wukeshu Town

Wuxue Town (44°43′-50′ north latitude, 126°01′-15 east longitude) is a town under the jurisdiction of Yushu City, Jilin Province, the western central town of Yushu City, and the sub-central urban area of ??Yushu City. The town has a total area of ??approximately 224 square kilometers and governs 4 streets, 20 communities (neighborhood committees), 17 administrative villages, 80 natural villages, and 156 villager groups, of which the built-up area is 10.2 square kilometers. The total population at the end of 2013 was 125,000. 2 Wukeshu Town is located in the northeast of Jilin Province. The center of the triangle formed by the three major cities of Changchun, Harbin and Jilin is in the west of Yushu City. Wukeshu Town is one of the first batch of small town comprehensive reform pilot units in the country. It is a "National Key Town", "National Civilized Town", "National Demonstration Town for Well-off Construction", "National Ecological Town" and "Top Ten Towns" in Jilin Province. A provincial socialist new rural construction promotion town, a civilized and sanitary town in Jilin Province, and an economically strong town in Changchun City. 2.
