Guangxi Water Conservancy and Electric Power Group Co., Ltd., the parent company of Guangxi Water Conservancy and Electric Power Group, formerly known as Guangxi Water Conservancy and Electric Power Co., Ltd., was established in October 1998. It is one of the two loan-bearing entities in the construction and transformation of Guangxi rural power grid, and is fully responsible for the work of "two reforms and one price" in 43 counties (cities, districts) such as Daxin.

Guangxi Water Conservancy and Electric Power Group has 94 enterprises, including 4 power supply branches, 36 wholly-owned or holding power supply companies, 1 share-holding power supply company, 14 power generation branches, 29 wholly-owned or holding power generation companies, 3 hotels, 3 water supply companies, 2 sewage treatment companies, 1 equipment factory and 1 technology company, with a registered capital of 944 million yuan, assets of 18.6 billion yuan and 27, system employees. In 29, Guangxi Water Conservancy and Electric Power Group achieved 15.835 billion kWh of power supply and 14.679 billion kWh of electricity sales. It has acquired and built 131 hydropower stations, with an installed capacity of 1,28,4 kilowatts, sales revenue of 6.42 billion yuan, profit of 22 million yuan and cash flow of online banking of 23.5 billion yuan.
