You studied mechanical design, and 80% of you will be engaged in the design of curtain wall after you enter the curtain wall company, because the design drawing of curtain wall is a kind of drawing between architecture and machinery, which not only contains the content that architectural drawings want to express, but also has professional knowledge of machinery, such as detailed connection drawing of curtain wall, bar processing drawing, part processing drawing and other detailed drawings, all of which need mechanical knowledge to draw. At present, curtain wall designers are mainly composed of two majors, one is architecture and the other is machinery. There are several curtain wall designers around me who are majoring in mechanical and electrical engineering, and the current level and treatment are still good.

As for the prospect, curtain wall company is attached to civil engineering. In general, the general contractor is responsible for painting and ceramic tiles, and all other external decoration materials are the responsibility of the curtain wall company, such as doors and windows, stones, aluminum plates, glass curtain walls, clay plates and Si Qian plates. In other words, as long as the civil engineering industry exists, the curtain wall industry will accompany it. Curtain wall industry rose in China in 1990s, and it is still in the stage of steady development.
