Introduction to the scenic spots of Shuangshui Jiangjun Mountain Leisure Zone in Xinhui

The Great Temple consists of two main buildings, the front and the back, which are divided into two parts. There used to be a big abbot's room and a sutra depository on the right, but it was used for other purposes in the 1960s. The walls of the temple are made of granite blocks weighing about 2 tons each and nearly 3 meters high. The stable and moisture-proof stone foundation has made the temple experience more than 400 years of wind, rain and flash floods, and the foundation is still motionless. The beams, columns, steps, doors and altars around it are all made of finely carved granite. On the pier more than one meter high outside the door, there is a pair of stone lions with four eyes facing each other, which gives people a kind of god's power. On two 4-meter-high pillars erected in front of the temple, there is a cone-shaped stone ball, just like two pens standing on the ground, which means to stand on the ground by force and conquer the sky by literature. The horizontal plaque at the main entrance of the ancient temple reads "Great Temple", and the font is vigorous and powerful. On both sides of the gate, there is a pair of couplets carved with dragons and phoenixes. On the left, it says "Three sets of saints" and on the right, it says "Ten thousand days into the sky", which is mysterious and pious.

The great temple is dedicated to the statues of the Great Sage of the Imperial Seal, the Land Lord of the Imperial Seal Temple and many generals. Great icons are painted gold, overlooking all beings. In front of the temple, the words "mighty grace" are written on the forehead, and two gold medals "silence" and "avoidance" are erected on both sides of your highness's main hall, which is like a court, making people respect.

The ancient temple is built by mountains and rivers, surrounded by green trees and rugged rocks. The ancient trees by the stream are towering and the shade is closed, which is really a good place to enjoy the cool in summer. When you get to the ear washing spring, hold a handful of clean water to wash away the dust on your face, which makes people forget their troubles and insults. No wonder the predecessors left stone carvings such as "God is wise", "Little Penglai" and "Meditation". The Great Temple has been rebuilt many times, and there are inscriptions of Qianlong 49, Jiaqing 22, Republic of China 14, 1958, 1993.
