There are the following types of illegal online loans:

1. p2p online loan where investors' money runs away.

2. Cash loans with ultra-high interest rates and violent collection.

3. Illegally cashed consumer loans.

4. Conventional loans for fraud under the guise of private lending.

Article 7 of the general rules for loans

Self-operated loans, entrusted loans and special loans: Self-operated loans refer to loans that the lender raises funds in a legal way, distributes them independently, bears the risks, and recovers the principal and interest by the lender. Entrusted loans refer to loans provided by clients such as government departments, enterprises, institutions and individuals, and issued, supervised and recovered by lenders (i.e. trustees) according to the loan object, purpose, term and interest rate determined by clients. The lender (trustee) only charges the handling fee and does not bear the loan risk. Specific loans refer to loans granted by wholly state-owned commercial banks after they have been approved by the State Council and taken corresponding remedial measures.
