The airport was completed in February 1953 and was used by HNA in February 1954. From 1984 to 1990, Qiao Zhuang Airport was once used as a military-civilian airport, and Ningbo Civil Aviation Station was established.
3. 1990 After the completion of lishe airport, Qiao Zhuang Airport was restored as a military airport. Due to the needs of Ningbo's urban development, Qiao Zhuang Airport will be relocated to Guanhaiwei Town, Cixi City, but when to relocate has not yet been determined.
