Wuxi Ganlu School was formed in September 2000 by the merger of Ganlu Middle School and Ganlu Central Primary School with the approval of the Xishan District People’s Government. 1. Ganlu Central Primary School

Wuxi County Ganlu Central Primary School is located at the Hanlin Bridge in the north of Ganlu Town.

In the 33rd year of the reign of Emperor Guangxu of the Qing Dynasty (1907), local gentry Xue Weisun and others raised funds on the spot to build a school building on the original site of Zengshan Hall, and named the school Kaizhi Elementary School. The first principal was Xue Shouchen (alias Zeng Yuan), a scholar in the late Qing Dynasty. It enrolls more than 20 students and offers a duplex class for grades one to four.

In 1913, it was renamed Nanyan Municipal Third National School. It was built with funds from Zengshantang and school funds were paid by Nanyan City. At that time, the number of students had increased to 49. Yu Zongzhen and Huang Mengpeng serve as principals. In June of the 16th year of the Republic of China (1927), the school was renamed Ganlu Junior Primary School. Zhou Lin (alias Rensheng) serves as the principal. In 1930, private funds and local funds jointly established an advanced class, and the school was renamed Ganlu Primary School. After the September 18th Incident broke out, the teachers and students of the school participated in the anti-Japanese and national salvation movement, boycotted Japanese goods, donated 13.180 yuan (silver dollars) for aviation and national salvation aircraft, and were commended by the County Education Bureau. In October of the 26th year of the Republic of China (1937), Zhou Lin returned to Ganlu and became the principal again. We formulated the school spirit of "hardworking like a camel, smart like a monkey, and brave like a lion" and the school motto of "brave, sincerity, courtesy, and diligence", and created a school song with the lyrics "...brave, sincerity, courtesy, and diligence" Sing the school spirit...obey the discipline, study hard..." and other sentences, which not only have the meaning of praise, but also have the spirit of diligence. In every assembly, the national anthem is always sung and the school song is continued.
