History:

Early period (96-98):

The band was founded in 1996. The promoters include guitarists Justin Mauriello (former member of Once There) and Greg burgdorf (former member of 409), bassist Ben Osmenson (former member of 3-Ply) and drummer Ed Youdes (former member of 409). At that time, the band to which these four people once belonged used a driving range. As a result, they found that the four of them could try to blend their different musical styles and they became friends. After they made up their minds to further develop their music career, they left their previous band and formed ZEBRAHEAD.

Influenced by FUGAZI and his descendants, the band found that they were not interested in the local popular Scarpunk style. They incorporated some elements of HIP HOP into their music, and finally the band added a new member, namely the percussionist ALI TABATABAEE.

Breakthrough (98-03):

After 1998 released ZEBRAHEAD with its own name (also called yellow because of the cover) in the name of Doctor Dream Audio & Video Company, the band signed a contract with Columbia Audio & Video Company to hold the first concert called "Waste of Mind", which was held later that year. The band's next albums were Playmate of the Year, released in mid-2000, and the secret album Stupid American Fat Man, released in 20001year for its Japanese concert.

Then the band and the American band GREEN DAY went to Europe for record promotion and performed at various music festivals. During the year, they also cooperated with other bands, such as Little Jack, King Cotton Mouth, 3 1 1, MPX, Scroll Big Fish, unwritten law and Golden Finger.

Three years after the first standard record was released, in 2003, the band released MFZB (fuck ZEBRAHEAD bastard). In the following year, they spent most of their time promoting their records overseas, especially in Japan, which quickly reached gold sales. The band found themselves performing on various occasions in Japan, including the Summer Sonic Festival, Punkspring and large-scale performances. It was during this period that bands began to pay more attention to punk music than hip-hop rock music.

Justin morille Lozzo (2004):

Shortly after touring Japan in 2004, lead singer and guitarist MAURIELLO left the band and switched to other interests. June 5438+February 2004, the news of his departure was told to fans through the band official website. His departure made the fans very sad, because his cooperation with TABATABAEE in singing and instrumental percussion was dynamic and very important to the band's music. In the same month, Matty Lewis (a former member of JANK 1000) received a phone call from TODD SINGERMAN, the manager of ZEBRAHEAD (who is also the manager of Jank1000) and learned that ZEBRAHEAD was looking for a new co-lead singer. Lewis went to California to audition for the role. After feeling his impressive performance, the other four members of the band officially recognized him as the new co-lead singer of the band, and officially launched him in the "Secret" performance held at the Anaheim Blues House on March 12, 2005.

Global broadcast (05-07):

Two years after the release of the last CD, with the support of a new singer, the band released its fifth album "Global Broadcasting" on February 22nd, 2006.

After touring Europe and Britain in early 2006 (including downloading live performances at the festival), the band spent the rest of the summer at the American Twisted Music Festival. During this period, their album Global Broadcasting was released in Europe by German audio-visual company SPV on July 3rd. On June 24, 2006, 10, after a long wait, the album was finally released in the United States and Canada under the new label of ICON MES. For the rest of 2006, the band toured Europe and the United States as part of the promotion of "Global Broadcasting".

In March 2007, the band stopped performing for two months and began to create new materials for its next album, which will be called "Phoenix". The band later returned to Europe in May, held a big concert with MXPX, and held a solo concert during their trip to Britain. The band spent a lot of time on the material creation of the new album, which is scheduled to be released in February 2008.

Phoenix (08-09)

After several active users in MFZB.COM indicated that they needed the latest information during the band's "quiet" period, the band responded positively and updated the audio and video to YOU TUBE. YOU TUBE is "first-class". This video mainly talks about how to write and record during the creative process, as well as the update of the band's official club.

From June 5th, 2008 to October, 2007, the band returned to England as part of their annual tour. On this tour, they performed with the new army, the police dog team and the bowling team. After the first music download festival in 2006, the band participated again in 2008. For the rest of 2007, the band continued to write songs for the next album. Some audition songs were recorded under the name of Jason Fries of Green Day.

In March 2008, the band recorded 18 songs for the new album. The first two songs, including The Art of Breaking Up, were recorded by Howard Benson, and the remaining sixteen songs were recorded by Cameron Webber. In the same month, the band revealed some episodes in the process of album production.

In June, the band returned to Britain and Europe and performed at some festivals (including downloads, Leeds slam dunks and green spaces). Some new songs in the upcoming album will appear in front of the audience for the first time.

On May 17, 2008, the band's MySpace reported that the new album would be named "Phoenix". A day later, the band's blog revealed that the first single in the album was named "Mental Health", and the music video of the album was directed and created by Elliot Madley of Panda Studio.

On July 8, 2008, a new record called Not a New Record was released. It was launched to encourage and publicize "Phoenix".

On August 5th, the album Phoenix was released in the United States and Canada.

On September 1 1 day, the band announced that the tour time in Britain, Europe and Japan would be from1October to1February 2008.

Grab underwear (2009-present):

(Note: This word refers to a meaningless activity or game in which college boys raid girls' dormitories to win women's underwear as trophies, here is an album name of the band.)

The band blog "Postcards from Hell" says:

"It has been confirmed that the band will release a new album called' Grab Pants', which is a cover album. This has been explained on the band's myspace blog.

Yes, the news department has been too idle recently. Soon, a new cover album will be released and many cover songs will be in it. The title of this album will be "Grab Pants". Let's play this crazy game. By the way, guess why this album is so named. Maybe you even think that some songs appear on this album because of its name! ! ! The next news on the blog will be about the next progress! ! ! This will come sooner than you expected! ! Let's party! "
