Introduction of Gynecology in Shangdi Hospital

On March 3rd, 2006, the Gynecology Department of Beijing Shangdi Hospital was formally established. Gynecology belongs to three areas: gynecological ward, gynecological clinic and family planning operating room. Doctor 12, nurse 12. Among them, chief physician 1 person, 5 deputy chief physicians, 4 attending physicians and 2 residents; 2 nurses in charge, 1 nurse,1nurse.

Gynecology, obstetrics and family planning clinics are set up in obstetrics and gynecology clinics, and high-risk obstetrics clinics are set up separately, and five doctors make house calls. All of them have worked for more than 25 years and have rich experience in obstetrics and gynecology diagnosis and treatment. In addition, the clinic also has a gynecological physiotherapy room, with pelvic inflammatory disease therapeutic instrument, microwave therapeutic instrument, Bohm light therapeutic instrument and other instruments.

Gynecological ward has 20 official beds, 7-8 extra beds, and about 120 inpatients per month. There are also gynecological tumors, ectopic pregnancy, induced labor in the second trimester, female ligation, high-risk abortion, hyperemesis gravidarum and miscarriage prevention. Up to 10, 733 patients have been treated in this ward. The operations that have been carried out include total hysterectomy, myomectomy, cytoreductive surgery of ovarian cancer, tubal ligation, excision of vulva and vagina tumor, tubal ovarian surgery, cervical polypectomy, hymen repair and so on.

Our family planning operating room is first-class in Haidian District. At present, there are anesthesiologists 1 person, surgeons 1~2 people and 2 nurses. 2 operating beds and 6 observation rest beds. Ultrasound-guided painless abortion, painless curettage and painless removal of intrauterine devices were performed. There are also medical abortion and diagnostic curettage.
