This shows that many college students fail to pay attention to their own characteristics, find their own problems and promote their own development. Then, this involves the problem of college students' employment career goals.
Career goals refer to those that can be expected and can be achieved to some extent. However, there is no fixed formula for the choice of career goals. The key is to be based on self-reality, which requires us to know something about ourselves. Know yourself through personal analysis, estimate your ability, confirm your personality, discover your interests, clarify your strengths, measure your gaps, and use this to develop and shape yourself, so that your talents can be fully exerted. However, the survey shows that most college students lack a deep understanding of their abilities, interests and career tendencies, and naturally they are vague about their career goals.

The degree of attention to employment scenarios directly affects the degree of preparation for the chosen career and the level of achievements brought by the future career. It is found in the survey that only 14.5% of the respondents have a clear understanding of the current employment situation. There is no significant difference in the degree of concern for employment prospects among students of different grades, but there is a significant difference in the degree of concern for employment prospects among students of different majors. Students of unpopular majors pay more attention to employment prospects than students of popular majors. In the survey, it is also found that 83.3% of the respondents think that "future" is more important than "money", and 6.3% of the respondents are willing to be "the head of a chicken" rather than "the tail of a phoenix". The above results show that most college students pay more attention to the intrinsic value of work.
The analysis from the above four aspects shows that the career planning of Guangzhou college students presents the following characteristics:
(1) Most college students are less satisfied with their majors;
(2) The career planning of college students in Guangzhou is still vague, with insufficient self-awareness, and most of them have no clear goals;
(3) College students in Guangzhou know little about the demand for social talents. In addition, the employment information provided by the school is insufficient, and students have fewer channels to understand employment-related information;
(4) The career expectations of college students in Guangzhou pay more attention to development space and hobbies.
therefore, we believe that according to the above characteristics, schools should strengthen the guidance of students' career planning, and college students should make career planning as early as possible to make full preparations for the future.
Conclusions and suggestions
1. Schools should do a good job in students' employment and improve the employment guidance system as soon as possible.
