Teacher recruitment requirements for candidates’ majors

Generally, the teacher establishment position you apply for must be the same or similar to the subject and major of the teacher qualification certificate you hold.

Teacher-prepared exams generally have the following three major requirements:

No major restriction: These should be the four words that students who take the teacher-prepared exam like to see the most. No matter what major you are in, you can apply.

Professional counterpart: This requires that the position applied for should be consistent with the major studied.

Similar major: The major studied is similar to the position applied for.

In addition, there are requirements for candidates’ academic qualifications. The specific requirements are as follows.

Preschool teachers: usually require a college degree or above, and a few areas require a bachelor’s degree or above.

Primary and secondary school teachers: Usually require a bachelor’s degree or above. In a few areas, conditions are relaxed, and you can also apply for a college degree or above. Some primary school teacher positions only require a college degree or above.

Other situations: Some high-level talent recruitment will have relatively high academic requirements, usually requiring a master's degree or above, but this situation only accounts for a small part, so you don't need to worry.
