Preparation before the interview-
HR confirms the interview place politely after confirming the company name with you on the phone. It is not recommended that the other party's address and zip code be read to you. Instead, immediately search for the company name on your mobile phone or computer, and then politely confirm: Would you mind confirming the address of the interview ...? In this way, the other party will think that you are very active and careful, and you have done your homework in advance. It is not that many companies in Haitou can't remember which one to play.
Be sure to confirm your contact in the interview times. "Can you tell me who I should report to?" Sometimes the person who reports for duty may not be the interviewer. Like myself, I sometimes arrange interviews. The interviewer may be myself, but the interviewer is the department manager or director. If you can't hear the name clearly, be sure to ask. "I'm sorry | didn't catch what you said earlier .. would you mind telling me again? "If you still don't understand and can't hear the color clearly, share a trick and say,' I'm very sorry, the signal is very poor. Would you mind sending me an email and telling me the details of the interview? Thank you so much! "
Sometimes HR doesn't necessarily call you, but sends you an email through the recruitment system to let you choose the interview time on the system. When you choose it, the system will automatically send you an email. If the time is really inappropriate, don't be late or unable to come because of difficult choices. Ask politely by email if you can provide some other time. Unless it is a school recruitment and management training position, there is a fixed stage deadline. In most positions, we usually interview very suitable and satisfied candidates, and then stop interviewing others. So if you can choose an earlier date, try to choose it.
Try to put the pre-investment work together and the interview time in the same two weeks, so that the interview and the result are at the same time. If you are lucky enough to get several offer, it is convenient to compare the choices at the same time. Otherwise, if you don't sign your offer and interview another company in a few weeks, you may lose your original offer because you can't sign the contract within the agreed time.
After receiving the HR email to confirm the interview time, thank you very much for calling in advance and thank you for the email confirmation. I look forward to meeting you in XXX (that is, at 00:00 am on Monday, April 24th). If you have questions, you can ask them in the interview, and try not to ask too many questions in the email.
If you don't talk to each other and don't know their gender, don't address each other as Mr., Ms. or Mrs. in the email. Unless you are a teacher in the education industry (in this case, the female teacher doesn't know whether the other person is married or not, and can be collectively called Ms), but in most cases in Britain, you are called by your first name.
Keep a friendly and polite relationship with the HR interviewer and the director of the department manager, not too deliberate or too close. If the sense of direction is not very good, or the location is complicated, the interview time may be the peak period, so it is recommended to step on it in advance. If you don't have time to step on the spot, arrive at least half an hour earlier than expected, and then wait about 15 minutes to enter the building to inform the other party (HR doesn't like being late, but it doesn't like people who arrive too early, because there may be meetings or other things, and saying hello in advance will make people feel urged).
Leave the phone number and contact email address of the interview company on your mobile phone, so that you can call the other party in time in case of emergency (such as the unreliable London train and subway being cancelled late). If there is a signal, call first. If there is no signal, but there is wfi, send an email to tell the other party, because there is no cell phone signal, so send an email. Then call when you get the signal. Keep calm. Professional HR generally won't punish you for this unexpected situation beyond your control, but if you are really late for the meeting, you should also express your sincere apologies. This is so important in the hotel service industry that a small matter can show your communication, emergency and handling ability under pressure.
