Journey to Huigu

Huigu School of the High School Attached to Jida University held the second teaching and art festival on April 5, 20 18. I dragged my husband here for two classes with a learning heart.

Teacher Lu's class is the second period, which is about Unit 5 of Grade One English. Why do you like pandas? The teacher is beautiful, especially the facial skin care is very good! There is a good link in classroom teaching, that is, listening to songs and filling in lyrics. Fox and lyrics are both animal names. Although it is difficult for students to fill in, this design is still worthy of recognition. From words to sentence patterns, from the first person to the third person, the students finally create their own dialogues and show their situational dialogues on the stage.

But I want to talk more about teacher Han Ying's class. Talking is the biggest highlight. It is said that he returned to China after teaching English in Spain for five years, and Mr. Han's class training is more grounded.

In this class, I have the following feelings:

1. Theme teaching is obviously asking for directions and directions. The whole class is like this: by learning prepositions-looking for prepositions from the video-giving phrases and pictures with places to guide students to make sentences (as shown in Figure 3 below)-introducing sentence patterns to ask for directions, and answering with prepositional phrases (working in groups and showing them in groups)-summarizing several different ways of asking for directions-students working in groups to find out how to ask for directions more politely-giving a video (Figure 4). (Figure 5)- Real-life practice, turning the class into a city. Each group makes simple models of different buildings. Students travel as foreigners and ask for directions in groups.

This is a very practical lesson. Look up at the stars and keep your feet on the ground. Students have learned how to ask for directions in English in real life, not just in exams.

Through this trip to Huigu, I have the following thoughts:

1. The power of music is really great. No matter today's class or the lessons of the three teachers of Pearl Hundred Flowers Award, students are given an exciting English song before class, but as an audience, my blood is boiling with the rhythm of the music, which is very important for easing the tension in the classroom and creating momentum for students. This reminds me that in addition to practicing pronunciation and intonation, class textbooks can also learn an English song every week, and students can practice pronunciation and intonation while humming.

2. I think it's easy to teach in English, and I really admire the on-site evaluation in English after class! This is what an English teacher should look like. Although I can't reach this height for the time being, I think this is what we should do. I think a qualified English teacher should be fluent in spoken English. A solid grasp of teaching principles and theories can guide teaching practice; Have a thorough understanding of British and American cultural background, have a solid foundation in reading British and American literature, and be able to interpret practical news in English; Teaching methods have their own characteristics, which can make students fall in love with your classroom.

3. English teaching should have situations, create real situations as much as possible, and let students learn and use them, so as to be effective.

English class should cultivate students to think and communicate in English.

From the perspective of curriculum standards, to cultivate students' cultural awareness, it is necessary to integrate classroom teaching materials and make theme teaching better, and then carry out situational teaching and simulation teaching. Language comes from practice, teachers should set real context for students, and students should use middle school.

Teaching links should be rigorous, each link has a purpose, step by step, these two courses make people feel that this is a previously designed course to be shown here.

There should be a gradient in asking questions and a degree in asking questions. Why? Teachers should give students time to really think in class.

In the arrangement of this time in class, we should calculate and decide the time well according to the students' sensitivity to time reaction. Ye Shengtao once said what an excellent teacher should be like.

5. Teacher Shi, a city researcher, evaluates the class.

1) What is the textbook?

Textbooks are our reference and cannot affect our communication with students. We should think more about changing from unit theme to single lesson theme. You can't ignore the subject. Strengthening students' experience of infiltrating text and expanding text needs to come from life and let students experience it in life.

Everyone has a book, but everyone's exploration of the book is different, so we should dig and improve it.

2) What is the purpose of the group presentation?

Let the teacher feel prepared in advance, and the group will interview before. It is best to use courseware to show the real state of real animals and zoos. This is the real context. That's what I thought, too. With expert advice? ) Real context, serving life, taking English as the need of preparing lessons, teaching children to communicate and feel, and the language is vivid, stylish and affectionate. The dialogue made up by children is really good, but it is out of touch with the practical value and authenticity of language.

3) How to teach?

Teachers' personality should be highlighted in the course of curriculum implementation. Language should be understood in the topic. Teachers pay attention to training students to express and understand semantics through participation. Teachers should pay attention to combing, accumulation and induction to help students build a framework for language output and help students export languages smoothly.

Teacher Shi suggested that we foreign language teachers should strengthen cultural infiltration. How to make students understand a second language? A good foreign language class should be a comprehensive language communication class, not just learning a few new words and sentence patterns.
