Can the auxiliary police drive a police car?

Auxiliary police are not allowed to drive a police car alone.

The Ministry of Public Security clearly stipulates that police cars must be driven by the people's police, and they also need to carry their driver's license, driving license and police officer's card with them. People's police must also wear police uniforms when driving police cars.

Auxiliary police examination requirements:

1, when applying for the auxiliary police, more regions will require candidates to be local household registration;

2. Only people with college education or above can apply for the exam;

3. The age of the auxiliary police examination is generally 18 years old and under 35 years old;

4. Generally, the height of men is required to be above 170cm and that of women to be above 160cm;

5, no obvious trauma, no tattoos, sound limbs, normal vision, no color blindness and color weakness;

6, no criminal record, immediate family members have no criminal behavior.

The differences between auxiliary police and auxiliary police are as follows:

1, different definitions: Auxiliary police refers to people who are funded by the government, employed by public security organs through written examination, interview, political examination and physical examination, and have established labor relations with them, and engaged in police auxiliary work under the command and supervision of public security organs and their people's police (different from public officials).

The post of police coordinator is to "assist" the police force, which belongs to the professional group prevention and treatment team and does not have the power of administrative law enforcement. From the institutional nature, although the joint police force is a financial subsidy institution, it is not a first-class authorized joint defense team. The police coordinator must carry out all the work under the leadership of the police.

2. The work content is different: Auxiliary police are generally people who assist the police in the police station to carry out joint security defense work. The police coordinator is usually a traffic police squadron, which assists the traffic police in managing traffic order. But this is not absolute.

3. Different recruitment links: The recruitment of auxiliary police is generally a bit formal, and it will go through registration, written examination, interview, physical examination, political examination, publicity and employment.

Public security organs, state security organs, prison management organs, people's courts and people's procuratorates shall strictly control the police cars in their own departments. Police cars shall not be used for other purposes except for the tasks listed in Article 2 of these Provisions.

Police cars should be driven by the people's police of their subordinate units. When driving a police car, you should hold a motor vehicle driver's license and a people's police card in accordance with the provisions of the standard police uniform (you don't need to wear a police cap when driving a car, but you should wear a standard police helmet when driving a motorcycle). The people's police shall not drive a police car during the driving practice.

When driving a police car to perform official duties in different places, the people's police shall abide by the provisions on cooperation in handling cases.
