Qinhuangdao Beidaihe Airport Planning

Beidaihe Airport is a tourist feeder airport, which was approved by the State Council and the Central Military Commission on July 2, 2007. The airport is located in the south of Shajiatuo Village, Changli County, covering an area of 2,350 mu. The construction standard is 4D, with a total investment of 487 million yuan and a construction period of 4 years. North China Branch of Civil Aviation Design Institute is responsible for planning and design. According to the position of the airport in the air transport network and the 11th Five-Year Plan of China civil aviation development, Qinhuangdao Beidaihe Airport is defined as a small airport. Planning is divided into short-term and long-term. Under the premise of ensuring flight safety and meeting the forecast of aviation business volume, it adheres to moderate, advanced and sustainable development. The airport started construction in 20 12, and was completed and put into use on March 3 1 6, in order to promote the strategy of revitalizing the city through tourism and facilitate citizens' travel. Qinhuangdao Beidaihe Airport is located in Shajiatuo, Longjiadian Town, Changli County, about 47 kilometers away from Qinhuangdao city, 34 kilometers away from Beidaihe seaside and 20 kilometers away from Beidaihe New District.
