Maintenance memorabilia of Lingyun Temple in Leshan

June 5438+October 2006 10, the maintenance project of Lingyun Temple was started, and the largest maintenance of Lingyun Temple next to Leshan Giant Buddha was carried out in 350 years. Sichuan Ancient Architecture Research and Design Institute was entrusted to survey the whole temple building, and 95 maps within the precision range of Leshan Lingyun Temple 1: 75 to 1: 150 were completed. In August, 2007, the maintenance planning of Leshan Lingyun Temple was completed.

Since 2008, after more than a year of intense preparation, the maintenance project of Lingyun Temple has started. The purpose of this maintenance is to respect history, carry forward tradition and repair the old as before; Appropriately improve the seismic strength; It conforms to the regulations and styles of Sichuan architecture in the early Qing Dynasty and is integrated with other existing ancient buildings of the Giant Buddha. According to the layout of ancient Buddhist buildings; Combined with the development of Buddhist cultural tourism and the demand of modern tourism, we will strive to make Lingyun Temple a safe, civilized and harmonious well-known boutique temple at home and abroad, and make greater contributions to the promotion of Buddhist culture and the social and economic development of Sichuan and Leshan.

June, 65438+June, 654381October+April, 2008, the first-phase maintenance project of Lingyun Temple began, and the Maitreya Hall and the left and right wing rooms were completely closed.

On April 30th, 2009, after half a year's safe, civilized and high-quality construction, the Maitreya Hall, Ancestral Hall, Zen Hall, Guest Hall, Wuguantang, Bell Tower and Drum Tower of Lingyun Temple completed civil works and entered the stage of fine decoration. Design and manufacture, paint wooden doors, windows, pendants, tiangong covers, old beams and other component pendants, and restore their simple and elegant style in strict accordance with the historical original appearance.

On June 5438+February 10, 2009, the second phase maintenance project of Lingyun Temple began to be closed, and the left and right wing rooms, sutra storage building and backyard of Daxiong Hall were demolished for maintenance. The wooden pillars, beams and bearers removed from the Hall of the Great Hero are decadent, hollow and broken.
