Technological process of jewelry inlay

(1) design: the hand-drawn design team draws a sketch of handmade jewelry design according to the requirements of customers and the creative guidance of factory design experts, and then gives it to exquisite jewelry masters to complete their works.

(2) Jack-up: make the jewelry template by hand, and weld a nozzle rod at a proper position to ensure the smooth pouring of metal liquid during casting as the casting template. In some cases, the technique of relief is also used to make the prototype of jewelry directly by carving wax, which is called waxing board.

(3) Molding: the jewelry pattern is sandwiched between rubber sheets, the green sheets are stuffed into pre-selected aluminum frames, and the pressed patterns are filled with broken films. After the rubber is pressed in with a hot press, the film is cut with a scalpel according to certain technical rules, and the jewelry pattern is taken out to make a so-called rubber mold.

(4) Mould inversion: firstly, fix the wax tree in the casting cage, put it into a vacuum extractor for vacuum pumping, take it out and pour it into the casting cage, then steam the wax, put it into an oven for baking gypsum, and gradually raise the temperature to finish baking gypsum, so as to make a gypsum mould. Metal materials and seam coatings are heated in a gold melting furnace. After the alloy is completely melted and stirred, the golden water is poured into the gypsum of vacuum machine or centrifugal casting machine, and after cooling, the jewelry blank is made.

(5) Die-holding: Die-holding refers to the process of carefully repairing the jewelry blank.

(6) Stone setting: After the mold is closed, the whole process of jewelry processing can be completed through the same artistic treatment as manual production, such as stone setting, polishing, cleaning, typing and printing, electroplating and sandblasting.

(7) Polishing: The polished jewelry surface should be extremely bright, giving people a dazzling aesthetic feeling.

(8) Electroplating: electroplate the jewelry surface with white gold water (including rhodium) to make the jewelry surface whiter (whiter) and brighter.

(9) Quality inspection.
