According to local eyewitness Mr. Lin, the incident occurred in a residential building in Guangmingnanli, Lubei District, Tangshan City. It was said that a gas explosion occurred when an old lady was cooking at home.

Multiple videos provided by witnesses at the scene showed that a hole was formed in the window of the resident's home where the incident occurred, pots and pans were scattered on the floor downstairs, and the car parked downstairs was also damaged. Both 110 and 120 Rushed to the scene.
