On March 1 day, 2006, it was officially handed over to the local government for management. It was listed on March 18 and renamed as Hongqiao Primary School in Hanyang District. The school covers an area of nearly 12000 square meters, with a building area of more than 6000 square meters and 74 faculty members. The beautiful Hongqiao Primary School is backed by Guishan Mountain, adjacent to the Yangtze River in the east and the beautiful Lotus Lake. With a beautiful and pleasant environment, it is a prestigious school with a long history and profound cultural heritage.

The school has 35 classes, 104 faculty and 1226 students. Teachers have high academic qualifications and good literacy.
