Brief introduction of Shanghai Soong Ching Ling Foundation

To commemorate Soong Ching Ling (former honorary chairman of People's Republic of China (PRC), Mrs. Sun Yat-sen), inherit and carry forward her lifelong spirit of caring for women and loving children, contact friendly groups and enthusiastic people at home and abroad, develop maternal and child health care and children's cultural and educational welfare in China Welfare Institute, remote and poor areas in Shanghai and China, and make contributions to enhancing international friendship and safeguarding world peace, the conference was held on May 27th, 2008.
