Supplement of coating additives

As the name implies, the function of drier is to make the coating film formed after coating is used quickly dry and agglomerate. The most remarkable effect is that the time required for the oil film formed by paint to dry and agglomerate is rapidly shortened from a few days. This is what we commonly call plasticizer. Its function is to increase the toughness of the coating. DEHP is the most widely used toughening agent, and its Chinese name is phthalate ester coating, which is usually liquid with low consistency and strong fluidity. After using thickener, the consistency of the coating will increase obviously, the fluidity will decrease obviously, and it will be more convenient to use the coating.

Coating additives, also known as coating additives, are auxiliary materials for preparing coatings, which can improve the properties of coatings and promote the formation of coatings. There are many kinds, including drier, toughening agent, emulsifier, thickener, pigment dispersant, defoamer, leveling agent, anti-skinning agent, matting agent, light stabilizer, mildew inhibitor, antistatic agent (see plastic additives) and so on.
