Beilv Automobile was founded in 1958 and has a history of 47 years. During this period, it has experienced changes from transportation enterprises to auto repair shops, auto modification factories and then to vehicle production plants. The company trial-produced the first station wagon from 197 1. Since 1985, Beilv has gone through three stages: the pilot reform of shareholding system, the standardized reform of shareholding system, the public offering of shares, the listing in different places, and the transfer of legal person shares to foreign joint-stock companies. After 1996, due to insufficient liquidity, the product structure adjustment failed to achieve the expected goal, the competitive advantage of old products in the market weakened, and the sales organization was not strong enough, resulting in a sharp decline in production and sales, rising prices of raw materials and accessories, and lack of internal management of the company. On this basis, Beilv has launched new cars many times through continuous technical transformation: in mid-April 2004, BJ6490 Jingling series was listed; At the beginning of May, BJ6490D sea lion series was launched; In mid-May, Luxing series was listed; In late May, BJ6390 SUV was successfully trial-produced.

Beilv Automobile Manufacturing Co., Ltd. is a modern automobile manufacturing enterprise, which was reorganized by China Electromechanical Corporation, Beijing Automobile Holding Company and other shareholders on the basis of the former Beijing Touring Car Co., Ltd. in 2004. The new leadership team reorganized the original supply chain of the enterprise and introduced advanced management concepts, which greatly improved the enterprise in technology, procurement, production, quality, marketing and after-sales service in a short time.
