Hukou Iron and Steel Plant is not a state-owned enterprise. Jinsha Iron and Steel Co., Ltd. (hereinafter referred to as Jingang Company) is a medium-sized private iron and steel enterprise integrating iron and steel smelting and steel rolling. There are nearly 2,000 employees, with an annual output of 800,000 tons of steel. Jinshagang Iron and Steel Co., Ltd. broke ground in June 2003 and officially put into production on October 28th, 2004. Located in Jinshawan Industrial Park, Hukou, Jiujiang City, Jiangxi Province, the Golden Steel Plant Area covers an area of more than 800 mu, adjacent to Jiujing Expressway and the water of the Yangtze River. The company has a 10,000-ton wharf with abundant power resources and convenient transportation.
