Is Chaoshan from Jieyang?

Jieyang and Chaoshan are two prefecture-level cities in Guangdong Province, and there is no subordinate relationship between them. Jieyang City is located in the east of Guangdong Province, and Rongjiang River passes through the city. Jieyang borders Shantou and Chaozhou in the east, Shanwei and Meizhou in the west, Nanhai in the south and Meizhou in the north.

Jieyang covers an area of 5240.5 square kilometers. Chaoshan area is located in the southeast coast of Guangdong Province, belonging to Chaoshan cultural area and Chaozhou dialect area, and is the ancestral home and concentrated place of Chaoshan people.
