Changtu County is a county under the jurisdiction of Tieling City, Liaoning Province. It is located in the northernmost part of Tieling City, Liaoning Province, at the southern end of Songliao Plain, at the junction of Liaoning, Jilin and Mongolia provinces. It is the north gate of Liaoning Province and the second pilot unit of strengthening the county system by expanding power in Liaoning Province (deputy prefecture level; County-level cities). Administrative area 198 square kilometers. As of June 2020, Changtu Town has 23 communities and 17 administrative villages.
