Is Ma Yinchu a Muslim?

Ma Yinchu was smart since childhood and studied hard. He studied in America and got a doctorate. After returning home, he refused to win over warlords and politicians, and resolutely went to Peking University as a professor of economics, devoted himself to teaching and scientific research, wrote books and criticized the malpractices, and became a well-known professor on the eve of the May 4th Movement.

He was a legislator of the Nanjing government. After the founding of New China, he served as deputy director of the Central Financial and Economic Committee, deputy director of the East China Military and Political Committee, dean and professor of Chongqing University Business School, professor of Nanjing University, professor of Beijing Jiaotong University, president of Peking University and president of Zhejiang University.

War of Resistance against Japanese Aggression

1927 (16) In March, the Beijing government blocked Peking University, and Cai Yuanpei defected to the National Government and came to Hangzhou as a member and acting chairman of the Zhejiang Provisional Political Conference. Cai Yuanpei recruited Peking University professors Ma Yinchu and Jiang Menglin to participate in the construction of Zhejiang Province.

Ma Yinchu served as a member of the Anti-smoking Committee, engaged in anti-smoking work, and prepared to establish a farmers' bank. But soon, Zhang Jingjiang became a member of the Zhejiang provincial government, and Cai Yuanpei, Ma Yinchu and other Peking University professors were expelled from the Zhejiang provincial government. Ma Yinchu teaches at Hangzhou Finance School and concurrently serves as the auditor-general of Shanghai Zhejiang Industrial Bank.
