Bankrupt. According to Sony's public market data, Sony's camera integrated circuit sales have declined for two consecutive quarters in 2016. Therefore, in December of the same year, Sony announced that it would sell its camera module factory Sony Electronics South China Co., Ltd. in Guangzhou to Shenzhen for 9.9 billion yen. OFILM Technology Co., Ltd. marks the official declaration of bankruptcy, for which Sony will pay up to 1,000 yuan in compensation for each employee.
