English First Education, one of the largest education groups in the world, was founded in 1965, focusing on language training, education and study tours, and cultural exchanges, and has developed into an internationally renowned language education institution. The company was founded by bertil hult in Lund, Sweden on 1965. It is privately owned by Holt family and headquartered in Lucerne, Switzerland.

EF stands for Education First, and English is the main language in China. The task is to break down all geographical, linguistic and cultural barriers. EF Education has become the largest private English education institution in the world, with 15 subordinate institutions and non-profit organizations, which are mainly devoted to language learning, overseas study and degree courses.
