Practice experience in brewery

It is unwise to rush into a field we don't know, especially since we don't have enough experience to support our life and work. Therefore, when we are about to enter the society, the school requires us to deepen our study through internship and gradually adapt to the work. I am an intern in a brewery, and I fully understand my work and responsibilities during this period, so that I can exert my sweat in this position.

Generally speaking, the process of making beer is to smash rice, saccharify and gelatinize it, then add hops, boil it at high temperature and clarify it, then add yeast for fermentation, and then filter and disinfect it, which becomes the beer we usually drink. But it's simple to say, but there are many small programs in such a big process that we need to grasp well in the production process, otherwise beer is not brewed but a waste of water. With the development of time, many places that used to use labor were replaced by machines, and with the decrease of factory staff recruitment, it is necessary to find out technical talents who are familiar with the operation of these equipment. We have more places to learn and less places to use our previous experience.

My internship is a small part of the last procedure, and the workload is not particularly heavy, but there are many things I don't understand. At first, I couldn't operate the equipment at all. I can only have an eye addiction and touch it after work or before going to work, and only after we know enough about these devices can we feel more secure. I did well in school myself, but there is still a big difference between the laboratory and the real work. The operation of the equipment alone makes me only calm down and study. Seeing so much equipment, I took a break from the idea of speeding up. I still focus on mastering the basics. If I make a mistake, the consequences will be beyond my ability.

Seeing my serious attitude, I taught my predecessors to test my knowledge slowly, from letting me watch and explain the operation process carefully to letting me operate it once or twice and telling me what improvements have been made. Now I can operate two or three kinds of equipment independently without the guidance of my predecessors. Although the progress is a little slow, my colleagues have warned me not to rush it. Only by mastering a solid foundation can we operate the complex period well and make no mistakes.

Internship is a process of combining theory with practice, and it is also a test of whether I fully understand these foundations at school and whether I can successfully apply them to practice. After this period of study, I am full of confidence in myself. Although I don't have a high talent, I am not arrogant and impetuous, step by step, and will eventually get gratifying results.
