The Historical Evolution of Zhoukou Preschool Normal School

In March (1909), Xuantong Yuan was founded by Chenzhou Prefecture, formerly known as Chenzhou Prefecture Junior Normal School, which was one of the earliest normal schools in Henan Province. It has been renamed Henan Provincial Normal School, Provincial Second Normal School, Huaiyang Zhongshan School and Huaiyang Normal School in Henan Province. In September 2002, with the approval of the Henan Provincial People's Government, it was renamed Zhoukou Kindergarten Normal School in Henan Province. The school has moved to Lushan, Neixiang, Xihua, Zhoukou, Xiangcheng, Xiping and Jigongshan. Zhoukou Kindergarten (formerly Huaiyang Normal School) is still a school with a glorious revolutionary tradition. The first * * * Communist Youth League in Huaiyang County and the first Party branch in Zhoukou area were established in Zhoukou Kindergarten (formerly Huaiyang Normal School) on 1924 and 1926 respectively. Teachers and students of the school have participated in the vigorous patriotic student movements such as May 4th, May 30th, September 18th and December 9th. In the history of nearly a hundred years, it has sent a batch of outstanding talents to the party and the country, and is known as the cradle of primary school teachers in eastern Henan. The school covers an area of 80,670 square meters with a building area of 35,632 square meters. The teaching facilities are advanced and complete, with 56 senior lecturers, 47 lecturers and 2 1 1 in-service teachers. All front-line teachers have bachelor's degrees, of which 22 have obtained and are studying for master's degrees, and 15 are provincial-level backbone teachers and municipal-level scientific and technological talents.
