Zhang Ying's Guzheng Works in Ningbo

Zhang Ying has been exposed to folk music since he was five years old. The reason for learning the piano is quite pure, because Zhang Ying was brought up by his grandparents, and he was particularly naughty and active. Her music-loving mother asked her to learn musical instruments just to make her more introverted.

At the Guzheng Concert held by Yintai City Bookstore in Beilun, Ningbo, Mr. Zhang Ying demonstrated a variety of playing techniques with a song "Typhoon War", which not only showed unique techniques such as long shaking and sweeping, but also showed creative techniques such as shaking buttons, sweeping strings and rubbing wheels. The whole song is vigorous and powerful, which shapes the dauntless spirit of dock workers against typhoons.

Guzheng is one of the traditional Chinese musical instruments with a long history of nearly 2500 years. It is the representative of China national musical instruments and the treasure of national culture. From Chinese folk music to Han traditional musical instruments, from the history of guzheng to modern guzheng schools, Mr. Zhang Ying told the story of past lives of guzheng at the sharing meeting, and explained the inheritance and changes of guzheng culture from ancient times to modern times in a simple way, giving everyone a new understanding of guzheng.

Guzheng playing skills

There are two basic playing methods of Zheng: the clamping method and the drawing method.

1. clip method: the fingerstring playing direction is from oblique top to oblique bottom, with an angle of 45 degrees, thick blue and full sound quality. When playing, the ring finger is often naturally placed on the zither string, so that the hand is supported and the hand shape is naturally relaxed. Clamping is the basic method for beginners to play guzheng, and it is also the basic method of traditional techniques.

2. Pick-up method: Finger-playing string direction is inclined from below to above at a 45-degree angle, with clear pronunciation and clean sound quality. There is often no support when playing, so hang up. Don't be nervous about the hand shape in basic training, but you still need to keep the hand penalty relaxed naturally. Lifting is an important method of quick practice.

In addition to these two basic methods of playing strings, the depth of touching strings, the adjustment of touching angles, and the different speed and strength of touching strings have all brought great changes to the pronunciation of Zheng. In basic training, we should learn to master different methods of playing strings, learn to adjust the angle, strength and speed of touching strings, and apply them freely to music performance.

Everything has two sides, so does learning guzheng, which also varies from person to person. It can only be said that compared with other musical instruments, guzheng is easier to learn and learn. However, the learning span of guzheng is large, and it is not easy to learn it well and learn the essence. In fact, it is not easy to learn the essence of any musical instrument, even a small harmonica. If you want to learn essence well, it still depends on whether you study hard and practice.
