On April 7, 2022, two asymptomatic infected people were newly found in the investigation of truck drivers and related key places in Foshan. The relevant information is hereby notified as follows:

Asymptomatic infected person 1: male, 29 years old, a worker in Xiqiao science and technology industrial park.

Asymptomatic infected person 2: male, 3 1 year-old, staff member of Nanzhuang Yiyun Agricultural Products Trading Center.

The above-mentioned two people were found in the investigation of key populations related to positive cases of truck drivers notified by our city on April 6, and the re-examination results of Foshan CDC were positive. According to the clinical manifestations, the asymptomatic infected person was diagnosed and transported to the designated hospital for medical observation in a closed loop. Close contact, sub-close contact and key places involved have been controlled. More than 260 thousand people were screened for nucleic acid in key population, and all the results were negative.
