Ding Yumei is from Dingjianglou Village, Suixi County, Anhui Province.

Ding Yumei, female, born in 1957, Xu Jiayin's wife, was born in an ordinary worker's family, received a good education and held a Canadian passport. 1982, after graduating from Xu Jiayin University, he was assigned to work in Wuyang Iron and Steel Plant, where he met Ding Yumei.
