Military policy of college students

When I used to be a soldier, I basically didn't have high requirements for academic qualifications. Even many people can go to the army with a primary school education.

It is no longer appropriate for people with low academic qualifications to join the army now. In order to improve the quality of the army and attract more highly educated people to join the army, the state has issued a policy of serving in universities, and there are many preferential policies.

Without a solid national defense, the people will have no peace. My hero's goal is to join the army and defend his country. Conscription is good for you and me!

In order to encourage young people with high academic qualifications to join the army, the Ministry of National Defense has implemented five preferential policies for college students to join the army this year: priority in enlisting, priority in selection and use, preferential treatment for postgraduate entrance examination, compensation for tuition fees, compensation for state grants and loans, and preferential treatment for job placement.

1. Resume work. The Regulations on Conscription in Henan Province stipulates that during the conscription period, citizens who are recruited or hired by organs, organizations, enterprises and institutions and are scheduled to serve in active service should give priority to fulfilling their military service obligations; Relevant organs, organizations, enterprises and institutions shall obey the needs of national defense and army building, support conscription work, and retain their employment or employment qualifications during their service. Conscripts and noncommissioned officers who have served in active service for less than 12 years were staff or workers of organs, organizations, enterprises and institutions before enlisting, and retained personnel relations or labor relations during their service; After retiring from active service, those who choose to return to their original units shall enjoy the treatment of employees with the same position and length of service.

2. Orientation test. During active service, being a soldier is regarded as grassroots work experience. When recruiting civil servants, political and legal police officers, public institutions and state-owned enterprises, they are used to recruit qualified retired soldiers according to a certain proportion. When recruiting political and legal police officers, if they have obtained a college degree or above in full-time ordinary colleges and universities before joining the army, the total score of written test scores in education examinations will increase by 10. When recruiting grassroots military cadres, priority is given to recruiting outstanding retired non-commissioned officers and college students.

3. Command position. Non-commissioned officers who have been in active service 12 years or more, retired soldiers who have won second-class merit in peacetime or third-class merit in wartime during active service, and children of martyrs who have been disabled due to war, will be assigned jobs by the government. In line with the above conditions, active service in hard areas and special posts is preferred.

4. Back to school discount. Retired soldiers who have been admitted to or are studying in ordinary colleges and universities before joining the army are allowed to enroll or resume their studies within 2 years after retiring from active service. After entering school or during the resumption of school, you can get credits directly without taking courses such as public physical education, military skills and military theory; After graduation, it is preferred to participate in national defense students, rural grassroots service projects organized by the state, and selection of officers.

5. School is preferred. Within three years after retirement, the total score of the initial examination of master students will increase by 10, and it is recommended that master students be exempted from class II and above (referring to the initial examination); Those with higher vocational (junior college) education will be admitted to adult undergraduate courses without examination after retirement or to ordinary undergraduate courses after certain examinations; Those who have won the third-class merit or above will be admitted to ordinary undergraduate courses without taking the test after completing their studies in higher vocational colleges (junior colleges). Ex-servicemen enjoy the policy of adding points to the college entrance examination: 20 points will be added to ex-servicemen who have won the second-class merit (inclusive) or been awarded the honorary title by units above the military region (inclusive) during their service, and 10 points will be added to self-employed ex-servicemen.

6. Support employment. Retired soldiers participate in vocational education and skills training free of charge within 1 year after retirement; Retired soldiers engaged in self-employment will receive tax incentives and small secured loans, and retired soldiers engaged in low-profit projects will receive financial incentives. Except for industries restricted by the state, administrative fees for management, registration and license shall be exempted within 3 years from the date of first registration with the administrative department for industry and commerce. Business tax, urban maintenance and construction tax, education surcharge and personal income tax will be reduced or exempted within 3 years, with a maximum of 9600 yuan per household per year. After retiring from active service 1 year, college graduates can be regarded as fresh graduates of colleges and universities, and they can go through the employment registration formalities again in the original colleges and universities with the formalities of employing units.

What are the advantages of college students being soldiers? Welfare treatment of conscripts

1. Conscript allowance is 500 yuan/month in the first year, 600 yuan/month in the second year, and incentive allowance is 500 yuan/year. Total allowance for two years 13700 yuan.

2. Retirement fee for conscripts is 9,000 yuan (4,500 yuan/year).

3. Resettlement expenses for conscripts (6,000 yuan/year in rural areas, 0/5,000 yuan/year in towns, and 30,000 yuan/year in college towns) (the resettlement expenses in Xiangtan City are the highest in Hunan Province).

4. Soldiers enjoy social security benefits during their service, and the pension insurance is two years 10456 yuan.

5. The government will give a one-time reward 1 10,000 yuan to conscripts who enter Xinjiang to serve in Tibet.

6. The tuition fees of full-time college students are subsidized by the government and compensated by the national student loan. Undergraduate students do not exceed 8000 yuan per year, and graduate students do not exceed 12000 yuan per year.

7. After serving for two years, conscripts can be converted into non-commissioned officers. In the first year, their salary is about 3,000 yuan/month for corporal, 4,000 yuan/month for sergeant, 5,000 yuan/month for staff sergeant and 6,000 yuan/month for senior sergeant. Its pension increases with the increase of years.

8. According to different service areas, you can also enjoy special zone subsidies, regional subsidies and food subsidies.

Judging from the above preferential policies for college students to be soldiers, there are still many advantages for college students to be soldiers, at least they can change themselves during your work confusion. Many college students will join the army mainly because their academic performance is not ideal and they don't know what job to look for in society, so they simply sign up for the army. In addition, college students usually work as conscripts for two years after they arrive in the army. Two years later, if you stay, you will be a volunteer for three years and become a non-commissioned officer.

What are the advantages of college students being soldiers? Preferential policies enjoyed after retirement

1. set up a special postgraduate enrollment plan for "retired college student soldiers". According to the actual demand, a certain number of special plans are arranged every year, which are specially used for recruiting retired college students and soldiers. The scale of the special plan shall be controlled within 5000 people, and it shall be issued separately within the total scale of graduate enrollment in the country, and shall not be misappropriated.

2. Incorporate the military service of college students (including freshmen) into the student selection index system excluded by the school. Encourage colleges and universities that recommend excellent undergraduate graduates to study for graduate students without taking the test to formulate measures for the selection of students without taking the test, and incorporate the military service during the school into the selection index system for students without taking the test according to the specific conditions of the school. Retired personnel who have won second-class merit and above in the army and meet the requirements for postgraduate registration may be exempted from the examination (referring to the initial examination) to study for a master's degree.

3. Expand the scope of extra points for postgraduate entrance examination to college students (including freshmen). On the basis of continuing to implement the policy of extra points for fresh graduates of ordinary colleges and universities after retirement, retired personnel are allowed to enlist for compulsory military service and retire, and take the national postgraduate entrance examination within three years after completing their undergraduate studies. The total score of the initial examination is 10, and priority is given to admission under the same conditions.

4. The enrollment plan for retired college students and soldiers is listed separately. Higher vocational (junior college) students are enlisted for compulsory military service and discharged from the army. Take the general undergraduate examination after completing higher vocational education, and the enrollment ratio will be appropriately expanded on the basis of the current 30%. The specific proportion is determined by the provinces according to local conditions and registration.

5. The preferential policy of enlistment is attached to the admission notice of freshmen in colleges and universities. When colleges and universities send admission notices to freshmen, they will attach a leaflet for enlistment, which mainly includes a summary of preferential policies, a guide to the registration process, and student registration requirements.

6. Relax the restrictions for retired college students to return to their majors. College soldiers can return to school after retiring, and can transfer to other majors in our school after the school agrees and performs relevant procedures.

7. Re-entry policy. Students (including freshmen) who are studying in colleges and universities before compulsory military service are recruited. During their service, they will retain their school status or admission qualifications in accordance with relevant state regulations, and they will be allowed to resume their studies or admission within 2 years after retirement.

8. The state subsidizes tuition fees. The state gives a one-time compensation to college students who have been drafted into the army for compulsory military service for the tuition fees paid or the national student loans obtained during their school days; Students (including freshmen) enrolled in institutions of higher learning before being drafted into the army for compulsory military service, who retain their school status or admission qualifications according to the relevant provisions of the state during their service, and voluntarily resume their studies or admission after retirement, shall be exempted from tuition fees by the state; Tuition compensation, national student loan compensation and tuition fee remission standards, each undergraduate student does not exceed 8000 yuan per year, and each graduate student does not exceed 12000 yuan per year.

9. Add points for the entrance exam. Fresh graduates of ordinary colleges and universities will take the national postgraduate entrance examination within 3 years after being drafted into the army for compulsory military service, with a total score of 10, and priority will be given to admission under the same conditions; Those who have won second-class merit and above in the army and meet the requirements for postgraduate registration may study for a master's degree without examination (referring to the initial examination).

10. Higher vocational education (junior college). The enlistment experience of higher vocational college students (including freshmen) can be used as graduation internship experience; Graduates with higher vocational (junior college) education are admitted to adult undergraduate courses without examination after retirement; Students (including freshmen) in higher vocational colleges (colleges) who have won the third-class merit award are admitted to ordinary undergraduate courses without examination after completing their studies in higher vocational colleges (colleges).

1 1. About 20% of the pilot recruitment and training plan for the reform of the recruitment and training system for political and legal police officers is used to recruit retired soldiers of college students, and the bonus policy will no longer be implemented. Encourage retired soldiers with high academic qualifications to apply for pilot classes, and appropriately increase the proportion of retired soldiers recruited from college students.

12. Exempt from military skills. College students (including freshmen) are exempted from military skills training and get credits directly when they retire from the army to resume their studies or enter school.

13. Retirement employment service. College graduate soldiers can be regarded as fresh graduates in the same year within one year after retiring, and they can go through the employment registration formalities again in the original colleges and universities with the help of the procedures of the employer, and the household registration files will be moved with them (the municipality directly under the Central Government will implement them according to relevant regulations); Retired college graduate soldiers can participate in the employment guidance institutions of provincial graduates where their household registration is located, and the employment recruitment fairs of former graduate universities, and enjoy employment services such as employment information, key recommendation and employment guidance.
