Measures for the administration of police auxiliary personnel

Police auxiliary personnel of public security organs (hereinafter referred to as police auxiliary personnel) refer to staff who are openly recruited for the society, directly managed and used by public security organs, provide auxiliary support for police activities and related work of public security organs, and do not have the status of people's police, including police auxiliary personnel and service police auxiliary personnel. Social forces such as security defense team members, security volunteers, village officials, and personnel engaged in internal logistics services such as security, catering and cleaning in public security organs do not belong to police auxiliary personnel. According to the arrangement of the public security organ, the police auxiliary personnel shall engage in police auxiliary work under the command and leadership of the people's police of the public security organ, and shall not enforce the law alone or in their own name. The behavior of police assistants in performing their duties according to law is protected by law, and the consequences of performing their duties are borne by their public security organs.

In any of the following circumstances, it shall not be recruited as an auxiliary police:

1, who has received criminal punishment for committing a crime or is suspected of committing a crime and has not yet closed the case;

2 for gambling, drug abuse, prostitution, whoring by administrative detention or other administrative penalties for public security;

3. Being listed as the joint disciplinary object of dishonesty according to law;

4. Being expelled from public office or army;

5, in accordance with the provisions of the state and the city shall not be employed as police auxiliary personnel in other circumstances.

Legal basis:

Article 7 of the Measures for the Administration of Police Auxiliary Personnel of Beijing Public Security Organs shall meet the following conditions:

(1) Having People's Republic of China (PRC) nationality;

(two) support the leadership of China, support the constitution of People's Republic of China (PRC), abide by the law, good conduct;

(3) At least 18 years old;

(4) Having the working ability, physical condition and psychological quality necessary for performing their duties;

(five) the auxiliary police have a college education or above, and the auxiliary police have a high school education or above;

(6) There are no circumstances specified in Article 8 of these Measures;

(seven) other conditions required for specific positions as stipulated by the state and this Municipality.
