Sailors! An old sailor's advice to freshmen! Pray for the great gods.

The following is what I wrote to others. Please have a look. I hope it works for you. 1. Pei Wei is a liar. They are all recruitment agents or crew agents. At present, there are a surplus of ordinary crew members and new certificates, and regular companies will not advertise for enrollment. They all go to school to enroll students after graduation. 2. If you can't pass the exam, you can go to the Adult Education College (Continuing Education College) of a secondary school or university, and you don't need the college entrance examination results. If you don't know, you can ask one by one according to the schools promoted by the liar company. Most of them go by themselves, and the money is definitely less than the commission. When you graduate, you can find another unit. 3. The ranking of maritime undergraduate colleges is 1 Dalian Maritime University, 2 Shanghai Maritime University, 3 Wuhan University of Technology and 4 Jimei University. They also have higher vocational majors and adult education colleges (don't ask for grades, don't believe it). Good maritime majors include Qingdao Ocean Shipping Crew Vocational College, Guangzhou Maritime College, Shanghai Maritime Vocational and Technical College, and Jiangsu Maritime Vocational and Technical College (all are adult education, and no grades are required, just contact the school directly). I'm talking about colleges and universities under the Ministry of Communications, which have existed since the 1950s and 1960s and are highly recognized in the maritime circle. Unlike some places where undergraduates have set up a shipping technical school, a junior high school technical secondary school or even a fishery technical school, even teachers have not been found. Maybe some teachers don't even know what ocean-going cargo ships are like, but with the support of local governments, they offer navigation education, even for undergraduates, misleading children, delaying the country and affecting the industry. Many people who don't know the shipping industry think that any shipping company that recruits or trains crew members is a big company with big ships, then you are wrong. Now most shipping companies have divested their crew business and handed it over to crew companies. Real shipowners don't advertise for crew everywhere, they have bigger business to do. Regular crew companies have long-term cooperative relations with different shipowners. Some shipowners were originally separated from shipping companies, so that there are relatively stable ships for crew to work, and crew companies earn management fees from shipping companies. There are also some crew companies that serve foreign shipowners, establish cooperative relations with them and send crew members to work on foreign shipowners' ships. This is an overseas labor service, and it is also a kind of labor export. At present, some companies in the market have no cooperative shipowners and are not qualified to send crew abroad. Even without the approval of the maritime safety administration, they also pulled up the tiger skin, recruiting people and entrusting crew everywhere. The money they get far exceeds the actual cost of training fees and certificates, so people can't be busy in vain. You might say, they signed a contract with us. Please remember that the contract you signed is waste paper when protecting your rights and interests, and it is to tie your chain to the recruitment company. After the training, the informal company will go to the regular crew company to promote its crew because there is no cooperative shipowner and no crew assignment qualification, and become the so-called second-level agent, which is the intermediary. When the crew is short, this is not a big problem. The second-level agent can get part of the crew management fee from the first-level agent, and then peel it from the crew salary. The problem is that there is no shortage of ordinary crew members, including newly graduated senior crew members, not to mention newly trained ordinary crew members. In this way, there is a phenomenon that ordinary crew members can't get on the ship without wages during their internship. If you can't get on the boat, no one will pay you. It's hard to wait until the company informs you to board the ship, and the salary has been stripped for several layers, and then it will be reduced. At this time, people will think, can't I leave this informal company to go to a regular company or be a free sailor? Sorry, you signed a contract with someone else, and the certificate was issued by someone else, regardless of the name of the company. Anyway, without them, you can't get an exit permit and get on the boat; No one agrees that your seaman's certificate can't be cancelled and you can't get a new one. What's the use of holding your full set of certificates? You're completely tied down! In this way, when people get on the boat, their wages are low and they are skinned; If you don't get on the boat, you'll have earned money during training, and you don't have to pay. Suit yourself. Liars seem to pack themselves very formally. In fact, such shipping companies, crew service companies and ship technical consulting companies can be registered at 500 ~ 1 10,000 yuan, and the money can be transferred after capital verification; Labor dispatch certificate, 50 thousand yuan can be handled in the labor bureau; Some companies have B-class seafarers' service agency license issued by the maritime department, but these two certificates do not mean that seafarers can be sent abroad. The qualification of overseas seafarers is approved by the Ministry of Commerce (formerly the Ministry of Foreign Trade and Economic Cooperation), and there are only 60 or 70 in China, most of which are state-owned enterprises. Therefore, these fraud companies are doing second-hand or third-hand business even if they send crew members, and the crew's wages have been stripped for several layers! Some companies exaggerate publicity under the banner of Hong Kong XX Group and XX Shipping Company. In fact, "Hong Kong XX Group and XX Shipping Company" are nothing, or have nothing to do with them, so as to attract students and parents. "Hong Kong XX Group, XX Shipping Company" can be registered in Hong Kong for HK$ 3,000. People in the industry call it a "paper company", which means there is nothing but a registered piece of paper. 6. Liars like to find some former students. In fact, the student hasn't graduated yet, or he just did an unpaid internship and will never get on the boat again. Including many boys and girls who work with the boss, are not clear (because they are only responsible for enrollment and training), only the boss knows that they are cheating (it is only their own responsibility to help students contact work, which is a trade secret). 7. I am an old sailor. I'm not enrolling students or starting a company. I just want to be clear with you about the situation here. Many people who entrust shipping companies to train students, recruit seafarers and travel at sea are purely recruiting companies and traffickers. They can't arrange employment at all. Their promise is a lie. Please be careful.
