Chapter I General Provisions Article 1 In order to strengthen the administration of surveying and mapping (hereinafter referred to as surveying and mapping) in our city and give full play to the pioneering and safeguarding role of surveying and mapping in national economic construction, these measures are formulated in accordance with national and provincial laws and regulations on surveying and mapping administration and combined with the actual situation of our city. All foreign survey units that come to our city to undertake survey tasks are managed by the municipal survey management department. Chapter III Technical Management of Surveying and Mapping Business Article 11 Surveying and mapping units undertake the following surveying and mapping projects in our city, which shall be examined and approved by the Municipal Surveying and Mapping Management Office.
