Generally, we use 20Y liquefied gas, so who are 19Y and 22Y liquefied gas for?

19Y liquefied gas is commercial liquefied gas, and 22Y liquefied gas is industrial liquefied gas.

The symbol 19Y stands for complete propane and 22Y stands for complete butane. The household liquefied gas marked 20Y consists of 75% propane and 25% butane.

Different symbols represent different kinds of gas, that is, the corresponding gas appliance should be used. Only LPG gas appliances in China can use LPG.

Gas labeling application

Only 5R, 6R, 7R, 10T, 12T, 20Y, 3T and 4T are commonly used as gas standards, and 6T is biogas, which is only used in scattered small areas (r stands for gas and t stands for natural gas).

The cities that use 5R are: Shanghai, Qingdao, Dalian, Yantai, Wuxi, Suzhou, Hangzhou, Hankou, Changsha, Hefei, Yangzhou and Nantong.

The cities that use 6R are: Nanjing, Changchun, Changzhou, Weifang, etc.

The cities that use 7R are: Beijing, Tianjin, Harbin, Jinan, Taiyuan, Zhenjiang, Guiyang, Kunming and Shijiazhuang.

Cities that use 10T natural gas are: Xiamen, Zhongshan, Yixing, Shaoxing, Jinan, Zhoushan, Wuchang, Ningbo, Yangzhou, Kunshan, Lianyungang and Panyu.
