Brief introduction of liangduo town

Liangduo Town is located in the south of Dongtai City. According to legend, people burned salt here during the Kaiyuan period of the Tang Dynasty. In the early Ming Dynasty, there were salt departments, nine bridges, thirteen lanes and thirty-six temples. In the past, the "eight sights of beams and piles" once made tourists linger. The land and water transportation is convenient here. Coastal expressway, National Highway 204, Provincial Highway 352, Provincial Highway 6 10 and Xinchang Railway pass through the town. It is 20 kilometers away from Nantong Port in the south and only 70 kilometers away from Yancheng Airport in the north. Tongyu River and Sichuan River are connected north and south. Jiangsu Radar Group Company is located here, with convenient transportation and logistics. This is an important commodity distribution center in Dongtai, and it is also one of the key satellite towns approved by the Jiangsu provincial government for opening to the outside world.

Liangduo Town is an alluvial plain with mild climate, with an annual average temperature of about 14.5℃, annual precipitation of 1 100mm, frost-free period of about 220 days, total area of 132 square kilometers and total population of 83,000. It is one of the top 100 towns in northern Jiangsu.

From 2065438 to September 2004, Linta Village in Liangduo Town was named as "National Eco-cultural Village", which is the only village in Yancheng City that won this honor. It is also another honor of the village after winning the first "Top Ten Most Beautiful Villages in Jiangsu Province" and "beautiful countryside, China" pilot village.
