Where is the introduction of Chongqing Changshou Tolin Temple?

Changshoutang was built during the reign of Xichunguang in the Southern Song Dynasty (11-kloc-0/1195). It has a history of more than 820 years and covers an area of 18000 square meters. During the Wanli period of Ming Dynasty and Xianfeng period of Qing Dynasty, it was rebuilt twice and expanded into the triple hall of quadrangle (excluding the mountain gate), with a construction area of about 2000 square meters.

There are main hall, front hall, back hall, left and right wings, God of Wealth Temple, Six Gods Temple, Impermanence Hall, Songzi Hall, Twelve Halls of Hell, Naihe Bridge, Bell Tower and Shanmen. And there are guest rooms, canteens, kitchens, hateful dormitories and other facilities.

The most attractive attraction of Tolin Temple is the Guanyin statue carved on the right rock wall outside the mountain gate in Song Dynasty. This is called Guanyin with a thousand hands (actually there are 42 hands), sitting on the throne of a fish in a carved niche. The statue is 2.35 meters high and 0.85 meters wide. It has a neck, three sides, nine sides and 42 arms, each of which holds a magic weapon.

The left and right sides of the statue are carved with flying sky, as well as six statues of trust and support and golden couple. Looking closely at the statue of Guanyin with a thousand hands, we can see that it has a beautiful and vivid posture, a delicate and round face, a kind and amiable face, a unique and novel shape, a vivid image and a smooth and natural knife cutting method. Inherited and carried forward the artistic style of "clothing is thin and body is transparent, fullness is beautiful" in Tang Dynasty. Its artistic achievements can be compared with Dazu stone carvings of the same period.
