Shandong Communications Vocational College, founded in 1973, is a full-time ordinary institution of higher learning with the approval of Shandong Provincial People's Government, with Shandong Provincial Department of Education and Shandong Provincial Communications Department as the dual leadership management system and Shandong Provincial Communications Department as the main body. The college covers an area of 1044 mu, with a planned construction area of more than 300,000 square meters, an existing school building area of more than 250,000 square meters, teaching instruments and equipment of more than 60 million yuan, and a collection of 400,000 books. There are1/5 experimental training rooms and 10 comprehensive training center on campus. The college has more than 570 faculty members, including 4 doctors, 75 masters, 95 associate senior and above titles, and more than 10,000 full-time students/kloc-0. The college has elegant environment, convenient transportation, complete teaching facilities and good teaching conditions. The hospital has four campuses: South Campus, North Campus, East Campus and Taishan Campus. South campus is the main campus of the college, located in Fenghuang Mountain, Weifang High-tech Development Zone. The overall planning of campus construction was completed by Tsinghua University Architectural Planning and Design Institute. The campus is divided into six parts: square area in front of the school, teaching area, student living area, sports activity area, laboratory and practice workshop, and landscape area. The traffic vein is complete and orderly, the function division is student-oriented, convenient and reasonable, and the green landscape is ecologically harmonious, which finally embodies the design concept of ecological campus, cultural campus, dynamic campus and harmonious campus.

The college has four departments and one department, offering 29 full-time higher vocational majors, the main direction of which is automobile, highway, machinery and management, and it accepts both arts and sciences and enrolls students for the whole country. At present, the college has 1 training base for skilled talents in the field of automobile operation and maintenance determined by the Ministry of Education and other six ministries, 2 demonstration majors of "10000 Project" in higher vocational education determined by the Shandong Provincial Department of Education, 1 key vocational education training base supported by the central government, and 1 authorized teaching base of China automobile talent training project. National training base for certification of CAD grade examination 1, demonstration training base for road and bridge engineering and technology specialty of Ministry of Communications 1, Shandong "Golden Blue Collar Training" base 1. There are China North (Beijing) Automobile Engineering Technology R&D Center, Road and Bridge R&D Center, Electromechanical Research Institute, Logistics Research Institute, Judicial Appraisal Institute and other scientific research institutions. In the long-term process of running a school, it has gradually formed a school-running mode based on transportation, relying on industry, leading by famous teachers, and cooperating with schools and enterprises, as well as its school-running characteristics of paying attention to skills training, scientific research management, strict management education and combining work with study.
