There are generally several kinds of mechanic certificates. What qualifications do senior automobile mechanics need?

China's professional qualification certificate (automobile mechanic's professional certificate, issued by the Labor and Social Security Bureau) is divided into five grades: primary (level 5), intermediate (level 4), advanced (level 3), technician (level 2) and senior technician (level 1).

Senior auto mechanic (Grade III) meets one of the following conditions:

(1) He has a junior high school education or above and has been engaged in this occupation for more than 3 years continuously.

(2) Having reached the required standard class hours after advanced formal training in this occupation, and having obtained the graduation (completion) certificate.

(3) Obtain the graduation (completion) certificate of this occupation (major) from a senior technical school or a higher vocational school that is approved by the administrative department of labor and social security and aims at cultivating advanced skills.

(4) Graduates of this major or related majors who have obtained the intermediate vocational qualification certificate of this occupation have been engaged in this occupation for more than 2 years.
