What machining center?

Machining center is developed from CNC milling machine. The biggest difference with CNC milling machine is that the machining center has the ability to automatically exchange machining tools. By installing tools with different purposes in the tool magazine, the machining tools on the spindle can be replaced by the automatic tool changing device in one clamping, and various machining functions can be realized.

CNC machining center is an efficient automatic machine tool which is composed of mechanical equipment and CNC system and is suitable for machining complex parts. CNC machining center is one of the most productive and widely used CNC machine tools in the world.

Its comprehensive processing ability is strong, and more processing contents can be completed by clamping the workpiece once, with high processing accuracy. The efficiency of medium-processing-difficulty batch workpieces is 5 ~ 10 times that of ordinary equipment, especially it can complete many processing that ordinary equipment can't, and it is more suitable for single-piece processing with complex shape and high precision requirements or small and medium-sized batch and multi-variety production.

It concentrates the functions of milling, boring, drilling, tapping and thread cutting on one device, so that it has a variety of processing programs. According to the spatial position of spindle machining, machining centers are divided into horizontal machining centers and vertical machining centers. According to the technological use, there are: boring and milling machining center and compound machining center.

According to special functions, there are single table, double table and multi-table machining centers. Single-axis, double-axis, three-axis and replaceable headstock machining centers. According to the classification of guide rails, there are: line rail machining center, hard rail machining center machine tools and so on.
