For us who like airplanes since childhood, Yanliang, an aviation city with the reputation of "Seattle, China", is a holy place in my mind. Yanliang is a developed area of aviation industry in the whole region. It is a famous aviation city in China integrating aircraft design, manufacturing, identification, flight test, teaching and scientific research, and it is a good place for aviation fans to learn and stimulate their interest. This time, I contacted Uncle Cao Luge of the Finance Department of An Aircraft Industry Group Co., Ltd. through the great opportunity of China Southern Airlines' summer social practice. We finally have a chance to "pilgrimage" and feast our eyes! This is the first real contact with AVIC, the first time to see all kinds of real planes, and our hearts have flown to Yanliang!

The first day of social practice-visiting Xifei (watching Xifei video materials, written materials and historical objects exhibition)

On August 4th, members of our social practice team gathered in Xi 'an, the ancient capital, before eight o'clock in the morning and started a five-day summer social practice activity. At noon that day, I arrived at Yanliang-China Aviation City by bus. After the team members settled down at two o'clock in the afternoon, we began to contact Uncle Cao of Xifei, and our social practice activities really began. On the first day, Uncle Cao led us to watch the propaganda film of Xifei and some video materials of Xifei's development. We deeply feel how amazing the development of Xifei in the past 50 years is! Later, I saw the information and the articles left by all levels of the country when they visited Xifei, and I deeply realized the importance of Xifei in the national aviation industry. After reading Premier Wen's inscription for Xifei to participate in the development of large aircraft projects, we deeply feel that the state attaches great importance to the construction of Xifei. After that, the team members bid farewell to Uncle Cao, went back to sort out the information of today's visit, and collected more information on aircraft assembly and manufacturing to prepare for the next few days' practice.

After visiting Xifei Club, Xifei Plaza and Xifei Hotel, it coincides with Xifei's off-duty time. At this time, we saw another major feature of Yan Liangcheng: when the horn sounded, the mighty cycling team made us shine. There is a song "Sweet Honey" on the radio, which makes us feel that when there is a traffic jam during the rush hour in the city, the aviation city is like heaven. They work in Xifei, not only fighting for the aviation cause of the motherland, but also practicing the concept of environmental protection with practical actions. The third day of social practice-visit Xifei (visit Xifei workshop)

Early this morning, under the leadership of Uncle Cao, we started an "official" visit to Xifei Company.

Like the visit two days ago, Xifei's confidentiality is very strict. We showed the armed police soldiers the summer social practice letter of introduction issued by the school and the certificate issued by Uncle Cao of Xifei Company before entering Xifei.

There are many assembly workshops in Xifei, and each workshop occupies a large area from the outside.

Under the leadership of Uncle Cao, we visited several distinctive departments of Xifei: CNC center, technical equipment, machining, sheet metal, nonmetal, aircraft parts assembly workshop, aircraft assembly workshop and flight test center. You saw the production and assembly process of various large CNC machine tools and aircraft parts. Especially in the assembly parts transfer workshop, I watched the wing assembly of a large passenger plane at close range, which is very different from visiting the Aviation Museum of China Southern Airlines and learning knowledge from the aviation overview class. We found that riveting machine wings is really a chore, with extremely high technical requirements and great noise, which is harmful to workers' health for a long time.

Then I visited the aircraft assembly workshop, feeling that the assembly workshop is the largest of all workshops. I was shocked to see the flying leopard, J -6, Yun -7 series aircraft and Xinzhou 60 aircraft. We also had an exchange with the workers' master of Xifei. There are many questions that everyone is interested in, including the current R&D and regional aircraft production in China, the specific application of the professional knowledge we will learn in the future, and so on. The atmosphere was very good, and everyone was talking and laughing. Through the communication with workers' uncles, I have a basic understanding of the current aircraft industry in China. It is said that a workshop director is a graduate of China Southern Airlines, but we are not so honored to meet this outstanding alumnus of our school.

Various planes are parked not far from the door of the assembly workshop. Different from before, these planes are all finished products and there are no flying leopard fighters. Perhaps because of the confidentiality of the internal cockpit, Bang Liu is still "shy". There are many armed police soldiers standing guard in a large isolation area next to the apron, and there seem to be more secret planes that refuse to visit.

After the visit, I always wanted to shoot something to prove that I had been here, but Uncle Cao said it was best not to shoot it, so as not to let the wind out, and the monitoring was very strict. Indeed, when we turned around, we found that the three of them were facing us, and we couldn't help admiring Xifei's secrecy work so well!

Later, we said goodbye to Uncle Cao and went back to the hotel to sort out what we learned during our visit today. Today's visit was really shocking, and each of us secretly vowed that we must strive to fly to the west in the future and contribute to the development of AVIC!

The fourth day of social practice-visit the flight test institute, the national aviation industry base and the aviation science and technology museum.

Today is the last day of Yan Liang's summer social practice, and it is also a day full of surprises.

In the morning, Uncle Cao, who is going to show us around Xifei these days, told us that we can visit the flight test yard, but only in the compound, and we can't enter any workshops or scientific research bases. Nevertheless, each of us flew happily, hehe, it was a big surprise!

So, under the leadership of Uncle Cao, we registered our ID cards and names, and this group of "Granny Liu" began to visit the "Grand View Garden" of the flight test institute.

Our party first came to Baoguoyuan Square of the Flight Test Institute to learn about the development of the Flight Test Institute. Then we visited the meritorious airplane exhibition. We saw the old Soviet trainer at the beginning of 1959, the Yun -7 aircraft designed and manufactured by our country, the H -6 aircraft and the powerful flying leopard fighter.

After feasting our eyes, we bid farewell to Uncle Cao of Xifei and thanked him for taking care of us these days, which enabled us to successfully complete this social practice. We also came to the last stop of Yan Liang's trip-National Aviation Industry Base and Aviation Science and Technology Museum.

Although the National Aviation Industry Base has not yet been built, after reading its planning scheme and some infrastructure, each of us feels that the state has invested heavily in it and will definitely become the leader of AVIC in the future! An important part of the National Aviation Industry Base is the Aviation Science and Technology Museum, which aims to popularize aviation knowledge and highlight the characteristics of Yanliang Aviation City.

After paying the tickets to 30 yuan, everyone visited the museum under the guidance of the narrator. The overall design of the Aviation Science and Technology Museum is a dynamic airplane model, which is divided into two special museums: the World Aviation Development Museum and the China Aviation Development History.

A large number of physical models and pocket models of airplanes are displayed in the museum. When we took out the team flag of our Social Practice College for a group photo, the staff in the museum gave us thumbs-up and praised us as the aerospace elite of the future motherland.
