At the same time, from 1998 to 2004, the development zone began to transform into a comprehensive industrial park; Since 2005, Luogang Central District has been vigorously built, and Luogang District has begun to transform into a comprehensive new city. In 2002

Planning and building the central area of science city

Science City starts from Daguan Road in the west, east to North Second Ring Road, north to Guangshan Highway and south to Guangzhou-Shenzhen Expressway, with a total area of 44.87 square kilometers. The central area of Science City is located in the middle of Science City, with a total land area of 56.8 hectares. The construction of the central area of Science City started in September, 20001year. At present, the skeleton road network in the central area has basically taken shape, and a number of national, provincial, municipal and district-level R&D incubation facilities have been built and used. At the same time, Crowne Plaza Hotel, Science City Comprehensive R&D Incubation Zone and American schools have been basically completed.

Planning and Construction of Luogang Central District

The public service center covers an area of about 4. 1 km2.

In order to implement the strategy of Guangzhou's urban space "eastward" and realize the all-round development of the eastern part of Guangzhou, Luogang District compiled the Regional Development Plan of Luogang District of Guangzhou in 2005. In July 2005, the international consultation on urban design of Luogang Central District in Guangzhou was launched.

Luogang Central District is located in the middle of Luogang District, northeast of Guangzhou Science City and west of East Second Ring Road, with an area of 4 12 hectares. The central area will be an administrative management and comprehensive service center integrating the functions of administrative office, culture, education, sports, residence and commercial facilities.

Planning and construction of cultural and educational parks in 2007

In order to realize the development strategy of Luogang District from extensional development to connotative development and strengthen the construction of soft environment, on June 22, 2006, Ling Weixian, executive vice mayor, put forward the planning idea of building Luogang Cultural and Educational District. On February 28th, 2007, Secretary Xue Xiaofeng gave further instructions on the implementation of the planning and construction of cultural and educational parks. From June 5438 to October 2007 10, Guangzhou Luogang District Urban Planning Information Compilation Research Center entrusted Guangzhou Kecheng Planning Survey Technology Co., Ltd. to compile the special planning of Luogang District Cultural and Educational Park. On March 22nd, 2007, Secretary Xue Xiaofeng presided over the meeting to examine and approve the planning results, and agreed in principle to the Special Planning for Cultural and Educational Parks. After the meeting, a cultural and educational park project team was established.

Luogang Culture and Education Park is located in the east of Luogang Central District, bounded by the Second Ring Expressway in the northwest, Xiangxue Park in the east, the foot of Lion Mountain and Qilin Mountain in the northwest and Xiangxue Road in the northeast. Su Kai Avenue in the southwest, and Lihong Road (Daxue Road) in the southeast, which is an east-west long and narrow strip area, about 4. 1 km from east to west. The planned total land area is about 2.25 square kilometers. Based on the ancient town of Lingnan with a history of 1,000 years, it aims to build it into an emerging area with talent training, scientific research, Lingnan culture development and dissemination and tourism as the main body, serving Luogang, facing Guangzhou and moving towards the whole country.
