Is Zhengzhou University of Electric Power a higher vocational college?

It's not a higher vocational school, it's an ordinary college.

Zhengzhou University of Electric Power is the only general engineering college in Central China that integrates electricity, power, machinery, computer, business and management.

The school's predecessor was Zhengxian Industrial Vocational School (later renamed Zhengzhou Advanced Industrial Vocational School), which was founded in 1933. 1953, Zhengzhou electric power industrial school was established by the merger of the mechanical and electrical departments of six advanced industrial schools in five central and southern provinces. Later, after the development stages of Henan Electric Power College, Zhengzhou Electric Power College and Zhengzhou Electric Power School, Zhengzhou Electric Power College was established on 1994. 1998 was listed as a national demonstration key construction school of higher engineering college by the Ministry of Education.
