With the strong support of the school leaders, Teacher Chen and I were fortunate to attend the meeting. We took more than four hours of high-speed rail and an hour and a half by urban and rural buses, and finally arrived at Nanxun, one of the top ten charming ancient towns.

I was a little excited to attend this conference because we could meet Professor Luo Zengru, known as the "Polya" of the East, and listen to his lectures in person. He is the idol of many mathematicians. Many mathematics teachers grew up studying Master Luo's works. Listening to his teachings in person has been our dream for many years.

?On the morning of the first day of the conference, "Fractions" by teacher Lu Xiangli of Nanxun Jinxiu Experimental School, "Reexploring the Square" by teacher Jiang Xiaoxiang, a junior high school mathematics teaching researcher at Nanxun District Education and Teaching Research and Training Center, and "Re-Exploration of Squares" by Xishan, Jiangsu Province Teacher Sun Xuedong from the Senior Middle School Experimental School gave three wonderful lesson examples on "Graphics and Properties of Inverse Proportional Functions". The three teachers' superb classroom teaching abilities demonstrated avant-garde teaching concepts and their deep understanding of the teaching materials. I was deeply inspired. They led students to explore and learn. , exploring high, far, and deep, leading students to see a different scenery; the unique style of holistic teaching, guessing shapes from numbers, and matching shapes to numbers, explains the understanding of thinking classroom.

Professor Luo gave a lecture entitled "Teacher Professional Development in the Context of Core Competencies", "Case Analysis and Teacher Development", "Problem Solving Analysis and Teacher Development", Four special lectures on "Thesis Writing and Teacher Development". Professor Luo talked about teacher development in the context of core competencies based on his personal experience. It's just a case; two ways; three realms. The two ways are to "become talents by action" in "school-based teaching and research" and to "become successful through jobs" in "education and teaching", to improve the two core competitiveness of mathematics teaching and mathematics problem solving, and to occupy the commanding heights of mathematics teaching and mathematics problem solving. . The three realms are that the first realm of teacher development is to be an experience-based teacher (stand on the podium), the second realm is to be a technical teacher (to stand firmly on the podium), and the third realm is to be a teaching and research teacher (to stand on the podium).

It is proposed that mathematics teachers should develop students’ mathematical core competencies; teachers are an important factor affecting core competencies. Without teachers’ guidance, “integrating core competencies into the actual teaching process” will be an empty talk. Middle school teachers should become "space rockets", sending satellites (students) into orbit, and their own flying skills are getting higher every time. Based on his own experience, Professor Luo suggested using case analysis as a breakthrough to promote teachers to "become talents through action" and "become successful on the job." He put forward expectations for teachers: they must understand three terms: case, case teaching, and case study; participate in an action, case analysis; and take away a belief: I want to carry out, and I can also carry out case analysis. He transforms difficult mathematical terms into easy-to-understand life examples, turns troublesome paper writing into interesting research cases, and transforms problem-solving teaching into sparkling thinking fireworks.

Professor Luo went from being a top student majoring in mathematics at a key university to working as a mine worker for ten years, from being a school teacher for eight years to a university teacher, and then taking a leadership position and becoming a nationally trained expert. This leap has made him leap again and again. It records the footprints of his steady exploration, embodies the crystallization of his wisdom, and shines with the light of extraordinary life. Luo Zengru’s path is one of persistence and perseverance.

? Wang Guowei said in "Human Words": To achieve great things in ancient and modern times, great scholars must pass through three realms. As long as we are dedicated people in teaching, there will be unlimited room for creation.
