Zhangpu County Sui'an Industrial Development Zone was established in June 1991, with a total planned area of ??34.59 square kilometers. It was listed as a provincial development zone in March 1998, and consists of Sui'an Industrial Park and Jinpu Industrial Park. , Huangcang Industrial Park, Jiuzhen Industrial Park and Dananban Industrial Park and other parks. The development zone is located on the outskirts of the county and surrounds the county. Since the establishment of the development zone, in accordance with the requirements of “one-time planning, step-by-step implementation, ensuring high-end and high-grade”, it has focused on the development of industrial projects. After more than ten years of development and construction, it has become an initial development zone. It is a large-scale modern industrial zone. The development and construction of the entire development zone is moving in the direction of complete functions, complete supporting facilities and economies of scale. The development zone has been authorized by the municipal party committee and government to grant some municipal economic management rights and preferential investment policies to the development zone. At present, the development zone has initially formed industrial clusters such as light industry textiles, sports equipment, glass products, agricultural and sideline foods, and auto parts, attracting many companies from more than a dozen countries including the United States, Japan, Italy, and Singapore, as well as Hong Kong, Macao, Taiwan, and domestic developed regions. Investors invest here. By the end of 2009, the region had introduced 606 enterprises with a total investment of US$1.02 billion, including 264 foreign-invested enterprises, with contracted foreign investment of US$855 million, actual utilization of US$500 million of foreign investment, and employment of more than 36,000 people.
